Rental Policy

Reservations

  • All direct booking reservations are processed through the booking site Hostfully and payments are processed through Stripe. 

  • If reservation is made more than 30 days out, 50% will be due at time of booking, remaining balance will be due 30 days before reservation.

    • Please note, the second payment for your reservation will not be automatically withdrawn. You will receive an email 30 days before your reservation with a secure link to complete payment.​

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation policies vary by property, please see the listings to view the cancellation policy.

  • If reservations are cancelled within the full refund window, a 4% fee will be deducted from the refund for transaction fees.

General

  • Occasionally, appliances, hot tubs, fireplaces, etc. can malfunction.  We will service and restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items.  Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other "Acts of God" that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid.  Due to cleaning and servicing, hot tubs are not always up to full temperature at the time of your arrival and may need several hours to heat.  We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning at peak efficiency.

  • Most roads in the area of the cabin are maintained regularly, but can be curvy and steep.  Some of our cabins have a long gravel driveway.  While it is routinely maintained, it can be bumpy or slippery at times.  We STRONGLY recommend four-wheel drive during snowy or inclement weather.

  • In the event of an early departure for any reason, we cannot give any refund.  Also, there will be no refund for inclement weather.

Renter agrees to abide by the following rules and regulations and understands that violating any of the following are grounds for immediate eviction and forfeiture of all rates paid.

  • Possession of firearms or weapons is strictly prohibited on the premises.

  • Pets are only permitted in cabins specifically designated as "Pet Friendly". If this policy is violated, there will be a $50 cleaning fee charged to the credit card on file, exclusive of any damages caused by the pet. 

  • Do not move fireplace logs for any reason.  This causes soot damage to logs.

  • Possession of any illegal substances is prohibited.

  • Damage to trees will result in a minimum charge of $100.

  • Smoking is allowed outside only.  An additional $50.00 cleaning charge will be assessed if this policy is broken.  Please discard cigarette's responsibly.

  • All children must be under adult supervision at all times.

  • Keep the hot tub cover on when not in use.  If the hot tub must be drained due to Renter’s negligence, there will be a $100.00 charge assessed to the credit card on file.  Do not use soaps, oils or lotions in or before using the hot tub. Handle hot tub cover with care as it costs $650 to replace it.

  • Be cautious with chlorine-soaked clothing and towels which discolors and disintegrates furniture and carpet.

  • We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages, theft or excessive cleaning from your stay.  If you notice any problems upon your arrival, please let us know right away to avoid any damages being charged to your account.  Management reserves the right to ask you to leave early if our policies are not adhered to.

Liability

  • The renter agrees to assume all responsibility for any accident, injury, or damage that may result in or about the premises, to persons or property, and the owner of the premises shall not be held liable for such injury, accident, or damage.  Renter assumes the risk involved with the use of the hot tub and all other rental facilities and agrees to release the owner from any and all claims and liability of any nature which may arise during renter’s occupancy.

 

Checking Out

  • Guests are responsible for personal and reasonable clean-up of the cabin.

  • Please wash and put away dishes.

  • Renter will pay for excessive clean-up, damage, or theft.

  • Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

  • Return keys to the lock box.

These policies are in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment for all guests. We have made every effort to provide you with a clean, safe, and comfortable vacation cabin. We appreciate your business and hope your visit is a memorable one!
